Spider Web Frosting Chocolate Cake – Cheap Easy Halloween Party Dessert Food

  1. Place the chocolate and butter together in a heat-proof bowl; set aside.
  2. Heat the heavy cream until it just begins to boil and immediately pour over the chocolate. Stir gently until smooth. Let sit until slightly thickened before using to glaze cakes, about 3 minutes. Place the cake in the refrigerator for 5 to 10 minutes to set the chocolate.

For decorate cake:

  1. Pour chocolate on cake and smooth over the cake to completely coat.
  2. Melt 3-4 tablespoon of white chocolate & put into a small pipping bag. Start to pipe at the center of the cake, draw a spiral.
  3. Use a toothpick, drag from center to edge of the cake every 1.5 inches, to make the web effect.  Place the cakes in the freezer until chocolate sets. Remove and store in a cool area.
